Orchestra Audition
Audition: 1.) Perform One scale: C, G, D, A, F, Eb Major Scale; One, two, or three Octave

Concert and Symphonic Band Auditions
Audition: 1.) Perform One scale: C, G, D, A, F, Eb Major Scale; One, two, or three Octave
2.) Perform one excerpt with which you are most comfortable.

***Percussion Must play BOTH Snare and Mallets***
Jazz Auditions
Audition: 1.) Perform One scale: C, G, D, A, F, Eb Major Scale; One, two, or three Octave
2.)Choose a Level related to your instrument and ability (level 1 based on F blues and Level 2 based on "In a Mellow tone" by Duke Ellington).
3.) Improvise over: Level 1 12-bar concert F blues or Level 2 changes.
*Rhythm section will be asked to play "In a Mellow tone" and/or improvise over 12-bar F blues.
**Drumset players will be asked to play swing, funk, and other latin grooves.
**Drumset players will also swing for 3 bars, solo on 4th bar, and return to swing repeating the cycle.
